Humility- the ABC’s

Always seek God’s rest for the other person’s soul  

(There remains, therefore, a Sabbath rest for the people of God) (Hebrews 4:9)

Beware of assumptions 

(Do not judge lest you be judged) (Matt. 7:1)

Care enough to speak the truth in love 

(Ephesians 4:15)

Come to me all you who are weary and burdened

And I will give you rest.

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me

For I am meek and lowly in heart

And you will find rest for your souls.

For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

(Matthew 11:28-30)

Jesus wants me to learn meekness - 

so I will go to Him in times of distress or sin.

so that others can find rest; not in me, but in Him.
